Thyme essential oil is usually extracted by steam distillation and processed through oil-water separation. Not only is the cost low, but there are no other solvent residues and the fragrance is pure. The steam distillation method first involves cutting the dried raw materials into small pieces with scissors, placing them in a round bottomed flask, heating them with a temperature regulating electric heating sleeve, and distilling them together with water for a certain period of time in the Chemical book room to obtain the essential oil. The filtered essential oil contains a small amount of water, which is absorbed by anhydrous sodium sulfate to obtain a light yellow transparent essential oil. The process flow is drying (usually natural sun drying, which may cause the loss of essential oils) → crushing → co water distillation → stilling of distilled liquid → reading → filtration → dehydration → storage.
