Tea tree is a very useful essential oil, sometimes spelled Tea Tree, but not the "tea" of camellia. This short tree originates from New South Wales and can grow up to 6 meters tall. It thrives particularly in low humidity areas, but is mostly cultivated in forest farms. Extremely strong vitality, it continues to thrive even after being cut down, and can be harvested again in two years. Tea tree essential oil is only produced in Australia. The aroma of tea trees is fresh, with a clear and spicy aroma, and a clear disinfection odor. Due to its extremely light molecular weight, the odor is highly mobile and affected by the environment. The main component, "aminophenol," can dissolve mucus, help the tea tree's disinfection penetration, and be more effective against respiratory infections. However, it is also one of the reasons for the pungent odor.
Tea tree essential oil has a transparent color and extremely low viscosity. If dropped on the surface of an object, it can evaporate within 24 hours without leaving any traces. It is not irritating to general skin, but if the skin is fragile due to the use of drugs, excessive use of cosmetics and cleaning agents, using 100% pure tea trees may cause sensitivity to the skin. Although tea trees are non-toxic, it is absolutely not recommended to take pure tea tree essential oils orally. The effect of tea trees is also external rather than internal, and taking them orally is not beneficial. |
